Hello Folks!

Until I adopt an alternative system, the subscribe-by-email feature has gone away. If you like HowToBloke then bookmark him. Simple! So if you find HowToBloke's content entertaining, informative or, “a keeper”, simply bookmark any page and come back whenever you fancy!

“ So how do I bookmark? ”

On a PC desktop computer or a laptop, my preferred method is to drag & drop the page's URL into the bookmarks bar, bookmarks folder, or wherever you want, such as onto the desktop, but creating a bookmark is also possible using a shortcut 'hot-key' combination, so for example whilst browsing using Google Chrome, on your keyboard press the Ctrl key and the letter D key together at the same time on the page you want to bookmark. At the time of writing (October 2021), this 'hot-key' combination works ok in Firefox, Opera and Edge desktop internet browsers too but ensure that the place where you want to store the bookmark (the bookmarks folder/directory) being offered to you by your browser is selected correctly otherwise you may end-up saving the bookmark in a place that might be difficult to find again.

Tip: You can normally edit the name of the bookmark before you save it so that you can remember what it is about if it's not readily apparent.

If you're using a phone or tablet then tap the menu and select bookmark this page or save as bookmark, or something along those lines.

👉 Warning: Do be aware that pressing those Ctrl-D shortcut keys whilst using other programs such as spreadsheets and word-processing software may perform an entirely different function and produce unwanted results!
